Navigating through (or to) the medical system - LITERALLY

Driven by ambulance, for the second time in four days 🚑 Geoff has just been wheeled off to the X-ray machine in an attempt to diagnose the cause of high temperatures and severe left chest pain (likely in the lung). Thankfully, our paramedic daughter, Ruth, hadn’t quite left our place when the pain became acute resulting in a much calmer decision to call 000. A good dose of morphine, an elder’s prayer, a ride in the wheelchair Ruth had hired in the afternoon, and a careful transfer to the stretcher made for a safe path to the ambulance. Here Zeke interceded for us before the throne of grace, encouraging our hearts. More tests including a CT scan will hopefully provide some answers. Geoff is on oxygen, a drip and connected to a bunch of machines yet resting peacefully! Family Worship & "Reflecting on My Life within God's Story"

We are overwhelmed with God’s goodness to us and through the incredible love of our family - both our own children’s families, our siblings' families and our parents. This morning Geoff enjoyed some up close time with our youngest grandson.  How Ruth & James with their baby managed to be here on Friday evening from the remotest parts of WA on Tuesday afternoon,  is beyond comprehension - we are so thankful. Morning Worship with family Thanks Pete, Warren and Team!  After lunch Geoff shared a summary of his life in God’s sovereign plan together with an overview of the story of God’s people in the Scriptures and demonstrated parallels between His journey as a Christian and the story of Israel and the Church.
